Indian Air Force Releases Result for Medical Assistant (Group Y) Exam

The Indian Air Force (CASB) has released the IAF Group Y Medical Assistant Airmen 02/2026 Result on its official website airmenselection.cdac.in. The written exam took place on 25th September 2025, and the application process had closed on 31st July 2025.

The Medical Assistant Group Y post of the IAF is one of the most in-demand non-technical trades. The online applications for IAF Airmen Intake 02/2025 opened on July 11, 2025, and closed on July 31, 2025. Step 3: Click on the link and log in using your Roll Number and Date of Birth.

Step 4: Once logged in, you can view and download your result.

Step 5: Save or print a copy for future reference.

Your result will mention your name, roll number, trade, and qualifying status. If your roll number appears in the list, congratulations, you’ve cleared the first stage!

What Happens After the Result

Clearing the written exam is a great achievement; however, there are a couple of stages till you officially join the Indian Air Force. Below is what you can expect next:

Phase II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Adaptability Test I & II

Candidates who qualify in Phase I are called for physical and adaptability tests. You’ll be tested on endurance, speed, and basic adaptability.

  • 1.6 km run
  • Push-ups and sit-ups (as per Air Force standards)
  • Adaptability tests to check how well you can adjust to military life

Document Verification

IAF will verify your educational certificates, age proof, and any other eligibility documents. Be sure all things are accurate and ready in advance.

Phase III – Medical Examination
